WELLESLEY HILLS, MASSACHUSETTS
Your first visit
Your first pelvic floor therapy visit is a one-on-one appointment with a physical or occupational therapist. You’ll have 50 to 60 minutes to talk about what brought you in, ask questions, and discuss what an evaluation might involve.

What happens at the evaluation?
Your therapist will ask about your symptoms, health history, and what you’d like to get back to doing. They’ll explain how they can assess your concerns and discuss a plan with you. Meet the therapists and office team.
Will I need an internal exam?
If you have questions about internal assessment, ask your therapist to explain why they might recommend it and what other options are available. You can decline an exam or ask to pause at any time. You can also read more about what a session may involve.
