Meet the Staff

  • Raquel K. Perlis

    , B.S., P.T., has been practicing physical therapy in Massachusetts since 1981. She specializes in pelvic-floor dysfunction, a relatively new area within physical therapy. Raquel holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Chile and Boston University and has received continuing education in spinal mobilization, ergonomics, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and pelvic-floor dysfunction. She has lectured in hospitals, schools, and other facilities. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Hebrew, Raquel is prized by her patients for her warmth, openness, and multicultural understanding.

  • Sarah Herlihy, M.S., P.T.

    has a wealth of experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal problems and post surgical rehabilitation. She is also skilled in women’s health physical therapy. Sarah received a B.S. from Tufts University and a M.S. in physical therapy from Simmons College in 1997. In addition to working at several hospitals and in an outpatient physical therapy practice, she has pursued continuing education in improvements in surgical and rehabilitation techniques for shoulders and knees, joint mobilization, lumbar stabilization, balance retraining, pelvic floor dysfunction, and prenatal/postpartum exercise. A good listener with infectious enthusiasm, Sarah motivates her patients to succeed.

      , office manager, schedules appointments and is our insurance-company liaison. She makes every effort to accommodate patients’ schedules and runs our office with efficiency and humor.
